Jason Everson and his wife, Jocelyn, have been married since 2001. They have two beautiful daughters, Liya and Mary Elizabeth. God placed in their hearts a desire to begin a new United Methodist Church, a church that would be empowered and led by the work of the Holy Spirit to change the world around them.
Jason received a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. Prior to his appointment at Good Samaritan UMC, Jason served as pastor of the Mount Dearborn-Heath Chapel charge in Great Falls SC and also as the associate pastor of First United Methodist Church in Lancaster SC.Jason arrived at Good Samaritan in 2009 to lead the congregation through the restart process of becoming a new congregation. Jason is an ordained Elder in full connection.
