Based on everyday experiences where the Eternal divinely intersects the temporal, 31 Days of Encouragement offers daily words of hope to strengthen you on your faith journey. Uniquely formatted to keep one and to easily share one, each double entry is perforated so you can encourage family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers with “an instructed tongue to know the word that sustains the weary” (Isaiah 50:4).
Jonathan Dow travels as a worship leader, choir clinician, and conference and retreat speaker. Entering his 26th year of ministry, Jonathan’s passion is to build a legacy of encouragement living out his life verse, “The sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary” (Isaiah 50:4).
Graduating with a degree in Music Education, Jonathan served as Director of Music for 10 years at Trinity United Methodist Church in Erie, PA while simultaneously, teaching part time as a member of the piano faculty of Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. He then joined the staff of Aldersgate Renewal Ministries (ARM) as a worship and event coordinator, moving to Tennessee in 1999. He became Executive Director in 2009. Following God’s call, Jonathan stepped down in July of 2015 to return to his first love in worship and music ministry. In addition to traveling in worship ministry, Jonathan serves part-time as Director of Music for Matthews Memorial UMC in Madison, TN.
